Elitra Health review: cost, what you get and follow-up

Elitra Health offers a five-to-six-hour executive physical in one Lower Manhattan facility, with same-day results, an extended physician review and coordination of specialist follow-up. Its public pages describe several exam levels and a broad menu spanning laboratory work, cardiac testing, cancer screening, DEXA and optional imaging, but they do not publish a current price. The central buying question is which tests are in the quoted base exam and which are optional, especially full-body CT.

What we checked

Price, program scope, clinician time and follow-up.

We checked the provider’s current program pages and, where available, independent or regulatory sources listed below. We then separated standard inclusions from optional costs and open questions. Every source carries the date we reviewed it.

The short answer

Is Elitra Health worth considering?

Quote required

Elitra is strongest for a time-constrained buyer who wants a concentrated medical workup, same-day interpretation and help arranging specialist follow-up in New York. It is easier to understand than a treatment-led longevity clinic because the core product is an executive physical. The weaknesses are quote-only pricing, variable packages and an imaging menu that needs an individual indication, radiation discussion and clear plan for incidental findings.

Best fit

  • An executive who wants a five-to-six-hour private assessment with same-day physician interpretation.
  • Someone who values coordinated referrals after the exam rather than a report with no handoff.
  • A buyer able to compare the exact base package and optional imaging before arrival.

Ask before booking

  • What is the complete price for my exact exam tier and every recommended add-on?
  • How is the stated two-plus hours of doctor time divided between examination, results review and follow-up?
  • Which results will be final on the same day, and when is the later review included?
  • What personal indication supports each CT, MRI or ultrasound in my package?
  • Are specialist consultations and follow-up tests included or separately billed?

Choose something else if

  • You need routine primary care or ongoing treatment rather than a concentrated annual assessment.
  • You want a public fixed price before speaking with a concierge team.
  • You would add whole-body CT without a personal risk discussion and a plan for incidental findings.

What the Elitra Exam includes

Elitra describes one coordinated day with a detailed medical history, physical examination, advanced laboratory work, cardiovascular assessment, cancer and skin screening, DEXA, exercise and nutrition input, then a same-day physician review. The clinic says its doctors see only two or three patients a day. That can support a less rushed visit, but the final value still depends on the exact package selected and the time spent interpreting your findings.

Elitra Health cost

Elitra does not publish a current consumer price for the base exam or its higher tiers. It also identifies several scans and services as optional or package-dependent. Ask for a line-item quote showing the base examination, each image, physician review, laboratory work, specialist coordination, vaccines and any later appointment. A quote that lists only the day fee is not enough to compare Elitra with Princeton, Mayo or Cleveland Clinic.

Physician time and same-day results

Elitra says every executive exam package includes more than two hours of dedicated doctor time, including an extended physician meeting to review findings and the proposed plan. Confirm how that time is divided between history, examination and results review, and whether physician follow-up after the exam day is included when delayed results return.

Full-body CT is an optional decision, not a default benefit

Elitra promotes full-body CT as an add-on. The FDA says whole-body CT has not shown a net benefit for healthy asymptomatic people and can create radiation exposure, false leads and further procedures. This does not make every CT inappropriate: targeted imaging can be useful when age, symptoms or risk meet a recognized indication. Ask the physician to justify each scan and disclose estimated radiation dose before consent.

What follow-up coordination does and does not mean

Elitra says its concierge can arrange preferred specialist appointments through its network and Mount Sinai relationship, and can send results to your primary-care doctor. Coordination is useful, but it does not mean the specialist visit, biopsy, repeat image or treatment is included in the exam fee. Ask who remains clinically responsible until the referral is complete and which downstream costs may be billed separately.

Elitra vs Princeton Longevity Center and Mayo

Elitra and Princeton both concentrate extensive testing and physician review into a private day, while Mayo and Cleveland place executive health inside larger hospital systems. Elitra emphasizes same-location service and referral coordination. Compare actual physician hours, imaging protocol, total price, access to specialists and how long the clinic follows an abnormal finding rather than comparing hospitality claims.
