The person behind the verdicts
David Persson
Writer & founder, Agewell · Spain
David Persson is the writer behind Agewell. He is 46, based in Spain, and spends his time on one thing: reading the documents the longevity industry would rather you skimmed – the spec sheets, the affiliate terms, the actual studies behind the headlines – and scoring what is worth your money.
He is not a doctor, and Agewell is not medical advice. The job here is narrower and, he would argue, more useful: telling you which expensive thing is defensible, which is oversold, and what the brochure left out – before you spend. Verdicts are written before any commercial conversation; when the best product pays nothing, he says so.
He started Agewell after watching the longevity market fill with confident numbers that did not survive a second look – solar-meter irradiance, 2.0 ATA studies sold to move 1.3 ATA chambers, scores no one would show their working for. Agewell shows its working.
How Agewell scores is on the methodology page; what we will and won’t do is the editorial policy.
