The person behind the verdicts
David Persson
Writer & founder, Agewell · Spain
David Persson is the writer behind Agewell. He is 46, based in Spain, and has been working on his own healthspan since 2010: training, measuring, and trying the things he writes about, from a full-body scan to exosome treatment for worn tendons.
He reads the documents the longevity industry would rather you skim: spec sheets, affiliate terms and the actual studies behind the headline. Agewell is where the first-hand experience and the paper trail meet: which expensive thing is defensible, which is oversold, and what the brochure left out before you spend.
He is not a doctor, and Agewell is not medical advice. Verdicts are written before any commercial conversation; when the best product pays nothing, he says so. Agewell exists because too many confident numbers fail a second look: solar-meter irradiance, 2.0 ATA studies used to sell 1.3 ATA chambers, and scores no one would show their working for. Agewell shows its working.
How Agewell scores is on the methodology page; what we will and won’t do is the editorial policy.
