Aviv Clinics review: cost, what you get and follow-up

Aviv Clinics sells intensive physician-directed programs centered on hyperbaric oxygen therapy, assessment and cognitive or physical training. Current US prices run from $18,214 for the eight-week Performance Base program to $53,146 for the 12-week Recovery Premium program. This is a large time and money commitment, and the Florida clinic says many uses in its medical program are off-label and not billed to insurance. The useful comparison is the exact indication, session protocol, post-testing and follow-up included in your tier.

What we checked

Price, program scope, clinician time and follow-up.

We checked the provider’s current program pages and, where available, independent or regulatory sources listed below. We then separated standard inclusions from optional costs and open questions. Every source carries the date we reviewed it.

The short answer

Is Aviv Clinics worth considering?

Public US price

Aviv is best evaluated as a multi-week treatment course, not a longevity checkup or occasional chamber session. The public US pricing and UHMS accreditation make its facility and cost easier to examine than many competitors. They do not prove that HBOT improves every condition the clinic discusses. Ask whether your goal falls within established coverage guidance, what outcome is measured, whether post-testing is included and how the team handles lack of response or an adverse event.

Best fit

  • A patient who has a specific HBOT indication and can complete an eight- or twelve-week in-person course.
  • A buyer who wants published US program prices and multidisciplinary assessment around the chamber sessions.
  • Someone able to review the plan with an independent physician and budget for travel, housing and time away from work.

Ask before booking

  • Is my proposed use an established indication, an off-label treatment or a research-based hypothesis?
  • What chamber pressure, oxygen schedule, number of sessions and air breaks are prescribed?
  • Which physician visits and post-treatment tests are included in my exact tier?
  • What is the full cost after optional testing, travel, accommodation and any added therapy?
  • What outcome would stop, continue or change the program, and who manages an adverse event?

Choose something else if

  • You want an occasional wellness chamber session or cannot attend near-daily treatment for several weeks.
  • You assume UHMS facility accreditation proves efficacy for healthy aging, long COVID or every neurological condition.
  • You need insurance coverage for a use the clinic identifies as off-label.

What the Aviv Medical Program includes

Aviv combines physical examination, laboratory work and selected imaging or cognitive assessments with eight or twelve weeks of HBOT. Premium tiers add more physical, cognitive, nutrition, speech or occupational services depending on the program. Inclusions vary materially: Performance Base is not a smaller version of Recovery Premium. Match the tier to a defined problem and measurable outcome rather than assuming the longest program is the best purchase.

Aviv Clinics cost

The US pricing page lists Performance at $18,214 Base and $25,081 Premium, Enhancement at $29,546 Base and $48,596 Premium, and Recovery at $33,846 Base and $53,146 Premium. Individual condition pricing may instead be set with a physician and client ambassador. Aviv says it does not bill insurance directly, though some clients may use HSA or FSA funds. Housing, transport, missed work, extra tests and optional post-testing can change the real total. Dubai pricing should be requested separately.

Time, physician oversight and follow-up

Performance runs for eight weeks and Enhancement or Recovery for twelve, making attendance a core part of the decision. Every published program includes physician oversight, but the site does not quantify physician minutes per week. Specific tiers list different post-tests, and the main site says a personal plan can include follow-up monitoring for up to five years. Ask which post-assessments and later appointments are contractual in your quote rather than available options.

What the HBOT evidence does and does not show

A randomized trial in 63 adults over 64 reported improvements in selected exercise measures after 60 HBOT sessions. Several authors worked for or held interests in Aviv Scientific, and one small trial does not establish lifespan benefit or efficacy for every condition on a clinic menu. Aviv’s own FAQ says uses in the medical program can be off-label. CMS coverage is limited to defined conditions, which is a useful reminder that chamber clearance, facility quality and evidence for an indication are separate questions.

Accreditation is a safety signal, not an outcome guarantee

The Florida site appears on the 2026 UHMS accredited-facility list, a meaningful facility and process credential. FDA also reminded providers in 2025 that HBOT devices carry fire and other serious risks and require trained staff and strict operating procedures. Accreditation should support questions about staffing, emergency drills and equipment, but it cannot tell you whether your particular off-label goal will improve or whether the result justifies a five-figure course.
